Kate Moss is iconic in the world of Fashion. One of the only original supermodels that has a career spanning twenty years and she's still a working model.

I remember reading my first Vogue, in which Kate featured, with black and white photography talking about the backlash of starting the androgynous look and those Calvin Klein adverts with Mark Walhberg. And how she was sick of being blamed for a smoking and drinking culture. Reading the feature I was utterly in awe of her and her insight into the fashion world and I think that editorial feature decided my fate that I would work and love fashion.

So I'm overjoyed that across the pond in ye old Paris Kate is getting the praise I believe she deserves in the form of a photo exhibition showing her career to date. They've whittled down the mass of marketing campaigns and photography Kate has shoot to 25 pictures. And looking at them it's easy to remember what a force she is to be reckoned with and why unlike so many models Kate has been able to survive in a cut throat ageist environment that the world of modelling is.

The exhibition runs now to the 14th of September and I certainly think it's worth a day trip, I will certainly be making a visit.

The run down on top five looks at the Royal Wedding!

On Friday, the 29th of April their was a spectacular and proud event going on in Central London. The affair was the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. To say I was patriotic and very proud to be British is an understatement from start to finish the event captured a nation and was simply fantastic. And if the carriages, the procession and those balcony kisses weren't enough the fashion had to be the piece de resistance.

Firstly lets discuss that wedding dress. There was speculation that Sarah Burton for Alexander Mcqueen was to design the dress and when she got out of her Phantom Rolls Royce no one was disappointed with the decision. Sarah has certainly made Alexander Mcqueen proud and this dress will propel her to global fame and with the sophisticated Grace Kelly inspired lace bespoke applique creation she deserves every future success.

The dress had a very modest train, in comparison to Princess Diana, with a train nearly 9ft long. The gown is made with ivory and white satin gazar and the skirt is echoed with an opening flower, with white satin gazar arches and pleats.

The gown has a V-neck bodice, narrowing at the waist flattering Kate's small frame.

The lace design was hand-worked, using the Carrickmacross technique.The bodice lace appliqué and skirt was hand-made by the Royal School of Needlework, based at Hampton Court Palace. Workers there are required to wash their hands every thirty minutes to keep the lace and thread pristine. The needles are also renewed every three hours, to keep them as sharp and clean and possible. The gown is certainly fit for a Duchess.

The lady who stole the show at the wedding had to be Pippa Middleton. Her Maid of honour dress was also a Sarah Burton for Mcqueen number and although it was a design last seen on Cameron Diaz at the Golden Globes this year, Pippa looked fantastic.

The dress is ivory based crepe with a cowl front and the same button detail and lace trim as the bride.

The Queen was also on trend in a Primrose Yellow two piece Angela Kelly design. And Carole Middleton wore a fantastic Catherine Walker pale blue two piece, perfect for mother of the bride.

Victoria Beckham looked great in her own creation with a Philip Tracey hat. She hid the pregnancy bump well, which I have to say I'm disappointed about and I wish she'd worn colour. But David Beckham certainly didn't disappoint, I love that he pinned his OBE to his dinner jacket.

My least favourite looks have to be from Princess Beatrice and Eugenie.

Princess Beatrice made a brave choice in a dusty pink Valentino couture given her flame-coloured hair. The outfit it's self was nice but the Philip Tracey headwear, what was she thinking?? I hate it and I certainly think it's a fashion faux par she will regret for a long time to come.

As for Princess Eugenie the Vivienne Westwood outfit did little for her curvaceous figure and it made her look heavier than she is. She went with a Philip Tracey hat too, and I think it was more three musketeers than Royal Wedding. Well I guess you can't blame the girls for trying but my advice sack the stylists!!!
