Looks fit for a Royal Wedding Reception

Wedding fever is in full swing now with only five days to go until the Royal Wedding of Will and Kate and the fashion questions have been rife. What designer has Kate used for the Wedding dress? What will Victoria Beckham be wearing? What does one wear to such a grand occasion? And so I thought it would be fun to put together a couple of appropriate looks suitable for any wedding reception because lets face it are invitation to the reception on Friday must have been lost in the post.

So for those of us attending intimate casual Weddings this summer look to Whistles for the perfect outfit, including the shirt dedicated to Miss Middleton herself.

The skirt is fantastic in a royal navy blue and with it's 1950's inspired giving a beautiful silhouette to the body. Not to mention it's an investment, statement piece that after the wedding is a distant memory you will still have a wonderful timeless, elegant skirt.

Claudette Midi Skirt £95.00

The Kate Blouse is a perfect combo with the skirt adding texture and a different dimension to the skirt with it's button detailing. Tuck the blouse in and you'll be wearing a little bit of royalty. Did I mention also that Kate Middleton actually has this blouse?

The leather jacket makes the outfit edgy and it's beautiful tailoring makes sure this leather jacket isn't inappropriate for a wedding.

My last look and favourite involves a pleated skirt. Pleated skirts are huge this season and they vary in price so if your on a small budget you can still pick one up.

This skirt is perfectly on trend with it's pleating and the colour nude. This skirt is from Mango and retails at £74.90.

See website for details http://www.asos.com/Mango/Mango-Pleat-Midi-Skirt/

The lace pink top with ruffle collar is from ASOS and enhances the feminine look as well as matching colours that you wouldn't usually put together, but trust me it works.

The ASOS Lace Front Top with Ruffle Collar is £25.00

And if you've already got your outfits sorted and are looking for an accessories, what better accessories to have than a necklace designed by our very own princess to be. Kate designed this necklace while working for Jigsaw as a accessories buyer and at £46.00 this Sliver bean pendant with rose quartz and pink pearl charm is a bargain, it's something the future Queen of England designed!!!
